Alien Con October 9th, 2016 Squidbeam Games was invited to participate at Alien Con, the very first convention devoted to fans of HISTORY's Ancient Aliens, sci-fi buffs and pop culture enthusiasts alike! Twobit was demoed there! Thanks to everyone who came to the event and celebrated all things not of this world, both in science and in pop culture for three days on Halloween weekend, October 28-30, 2016! I have to say, Alien Con was a blast! A lot of work, still, but a blast! Thanks Caroline for helping me at the event, I'm not sure if I would have been able to go through it without you. We had two Gear VR stations going as well as an Oculus DK2 headset and my Area 51 workstation - although I love this computer, it is really a pain to carry around for sure, especially in the rain. A LOT of people showed up and we didn't really have much time to rest. I'm so glad I brought all my gears, all three VR stations got very busy all day! People are really fascinated by this new medium (as they should!), and I hope that with Twobit, they got to experience something different and unique.
